Light The World Day 5

Jesus healed the sick and so can you.  Jesus Christ had unique empathy for the suffering of others. While many in His day overlooked the sick, Jesus sought them out. Today, we can provide comfort and love to those struggling with physical ailments—just as He did.

I love the scriptures that go along with this,

2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”

Matthew 8:2–3

I so wish I could be touched by Him and He would cleanse me of my cancer.  

However, today I administered to 34 patients.  They were mostly colds, nothing big or emergent.  I tried to smile a little more. I thought today of how I, have the ability to heal people.  It is different than the Savior healed, but nonetheless, it is using my hands and talents the Lord blessed me with to touch those in need.
