It has been a fabulous week here in New England!
1. Vermont and New Hampshire had fabulous peak colors for the leaf peepers!
2. There is a Dunkin Donuts on every corner. No kidding. I put it into the GPS this evening right before we returned our car and within 5 miles there were more than 20. We had to get one last Boston Cream Donut for our last treat before we go back to healthy eating tomorrow or maybe we will start again on Monday.
3. The waterfalls were beautiful. I could look at them all day long.
4. Just being at the beach and watching the waves, while walking through the sand for only 5 minutes made me very happy today. The sun was shining and it hit 78 degree's here. It was a beautiful day!
5. In total we have been in 5 states in the past week Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. That's what I love about the east coast, you don't have to drive long to be in another state or to get to a lake, mountains or the beach. We were going to hit Canada, but decided there were too many things we wanted to see in New Hampshire. We drove a total of 1830 miles in the past week. Today we started in Maine, then went to New Hampshire, Massachusets, back to New Hampshire, back to Massachusets, and then ended in Connecticut. Tomorrow we fly to SLC and then Sunday I'll drive back home to Idaho to start my real life again!
