Summer Reading

If you know me, you know that I love my Summer Reading Program which stems all the way back to elementary school when Grandma Betty would take me to the library, sign me up for their program and let me check out books on a weekly basis.  My Summer Reading Program also comes from books handed down and recommended from all of my friends who also love to read; this all started with my friend Jenny and her Nancy Drew recommendations when we were kids.  I love to envision myself in the books that I read and I love the descriptions of all that goes into a novel.

When I left Mr. J and his little A's a few weeks ago, I left them with a package to open each week.  Their first package consisted of several books for them to have their own Summer Reading Program while I'm away.  Mr. J sent me a cute picture of the kids reading their books.  It brought me a big huge smile!

This Summer I'm super excited to read the stack of books that my friend Kaycee showed up with when she met me at the Train Depot Mothers Day Monday.  I'm almost finished reading the first one The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate.  I'm totally loving this one!  It is such a fun way to the start of Summer!  I also bought a bunch of books at the Goodwill when I was in Phoenix.  So here's to Summer (one of my favorite season's) and here's to Summer Reading!
